The Grandville Banquet
Center is housed on the second floor, in the former Alloytek building,
across Wilson Avenue from the Grandville Post Office. Although no
authority on the history of this building, rumor has it this was
originally built in the late 1930’s, early 1940’s to manufacture
ammunition for the US Government, for use during World War II. The 2900
block of Wilson Avenue is host to other businesses behind the Grandville
Center and is owned by a local investment company.
Due to the age and
grandeur of our physical space, we think of ourselves as the big old
building of downtown Grandville. We boast of high ceilings, exposed
rafters, creative lighting and lots of character, in this old house.
Mixing the old with new, we can also boast about new carpeting, surround
sound acoustics, handicap restrooms, state-of-the-art kitchen, and let’s
not forget our top notch service.
